California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA)

The California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) is a statewide organization with over 1,200 attorneys dedicated to protecting workers’ rights in cases such as unpaid wages, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblowing. CELA advocates for employees’ rights through litigation, education, and policy advocacy. For decades, it has acted as amicus curiae in landmark cases before the California Supreme Court and has represented hundreds of thousands of workers in state and federal courts. While CELA itself does not offer legal advice or referrals, its members serve independently.
