Founded in 1979 by seven visionary attorneys, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar (CCDB) is the only statewide organization solely focused on defending individuals accused of crimes. Dedicated to protecting constitutional rights and opposing the death penalty, CCDB provides essential training and support for criminal defense practitioners. Affiliated with the NACDL, it promotes diversity in the legal system and strives to enhance Colorado’s criminal justice system by offering crucial resources to private attorneys, public defenders, paralegals, and investigators.
