Founded in 1973 by 25 Austin Hispanic leaders during the political rise of figures like Richard Moya and Gus Garcia, the GAHCC was established to drive economic development and advocacy for Hispanic businesses. Its mission is to be the leading resource and advocate for this community, fostering entrepreneurial skills, financial access, and cultural integrity. The vision is a Central Texas where Hispanics thrive economically and lead as impactful community leaders.
