State Bar of Georgia

The State Bar of Georgia was founded to promote the principles of duty and public service among its members, improve the administration of justice, and advance the science of law. All professionals authorized to practice law in the state must be members. The organization adheres to strict ethical codes, overseen by the Supreme Court of Georgia through the Office of the General Counsel. Membership fees and other contributions fund programs that benefit both members and society.
