State Bar of Texas (SBT)

The mission of the State Bar of Texas is to support the administration of the legal system, ensure equal access to justice, promote high ethical standards for attorneys, and provide training for its members to better serve their clients and the public. Additionally, it advocates for public education on the rule of law and diversity in the legal profession. With over 100,000 active members, it is one of the largest state bars in the U.S. Founded in 1939, the State Bar includes all licensed attorneys in Texas, though it does not speak on behalf of all its members.
